Dot Brunken, Senior Account Manager

Since 2017, Dot has played an integral role in helping support IBG clients. As our Senior Account Manager, her knack for explaining complicated subjects in easy-to-understand terms makes her a huge asset to our clients and to the IBG team. Clients count on Dot to help them navigate the complexities of benefits, claims, and insurance contracts, and the IBG team looks to her for training and support in complex situations. Dot is a member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP), National and Oregon Chapter. She has a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University.

Dot has over 25 years of experience in healthcare and benefits. Starting her career with Premera Blue Cross in customer service and sales. She then worked as an account manager for several insurance brokerages as well as with third party administrators before eventually finding her home here with the IBG team.

When she’s not educating clients on benefits, you can find Dot hanging out with her husband and dogs or baking something delicious. She loves team trivia and is an avid reader. As Pacific Northwest native, she embraces the opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Oregon. Outside of work you might spot her hiking out on a trail, floating the river, or planting flowers out in the garden.
